STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Ports Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form D to the Registrar of Societies within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that certificate of registration is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Societies within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
