STANDING ORDER

To

All Registrars,

Subject: The business of a commission agent in a market by commissions agent in a market under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961 (Punjab Act 23 of 1961), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Punjab hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the business of a commission agent in a market by commissions agent in a market.

2. The matter has been examined. Every commission agent in a market carrying on the business of a commission agent in a market shall make an application in Form G to the Seed Certification Agency within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Registrar shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Seed Certification Agency within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Punjab.
