STANDING ORDER

To

All Registrars of the Authority,

Subject: The certification of construction by architect certifying a projects under the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 (Maharashtra Act 28 of 1971), the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the certification of construction by architect certifying a projects.

2. The matter has been examined. Every architect certifying a project carrying on the certification of construction shall make an application in Form E to the Adjudicating Officer within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Registrar of the Authority shall ensure that register of projects is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Adjudicating Officer within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra.
