STANDING ORDER

To

All Tahsildars,

Subject: The sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950 (Andhra Pradesh Act 21 of 1950), the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sinking of a well on Government land by owners of a well on Government land.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a well on Government land carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Board of Revenue within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Tahsildar shall ensure that register of holdings is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Revenue within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
