STANDING ORDER

To

All Village Accountants,

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950 (Andhra Pradesh Act 21 of 1950), the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of land by landholders.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 8 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that mutation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
