STANDING ORDER

To

All Relief Officers,

Subject: The storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a warehouse of inflammable goods carrying on the storage of inflammable goods shall make an application in Form B to the State Authority within one day, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Relief Officer shall ensure that incident report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Authority within one day.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
