STANDING ORDER

To

All Fire Officers,

Subject: The running of a fuel station by operators of a fuel station under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a fuel station by operators of a fuel station.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a fuel station carrying on the running of a fuel station shall make an application in Form E to the Relief Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Fire Officer shall ensure that incident report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Relief Commissioner within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
