OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a school library by managers of a school library under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a school library by managers of a school library is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manager of a school library carrying on the running of a school library shall make an application in Form B to the Board of Secondary Education within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a school library is undertaken, and the Board of Secondary Education shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
