STANDING ORDER

To

All District Sports Officers,

Subject: The officiating at competitions by registered match officials under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976 (Goa Act 14 of 1976), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Goa hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the officiating at competitions by registered match officials.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registered match official carrying on the officiating at competitions shall make an application in Form B to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The District Sports Officer shall ensure that competition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Goa.
