STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistant Charity Commissioners,

Subject: The running of a pilgrim lodge by operators of a pilgrim lodge under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a pilgrim lodge by operators of a pilgrim lodge.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a pilgrim lodge carrying on the running of a pilgrim lodge shall make an application in Form A to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Charity Commissioner shall ensure that audit report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Madhya Pradesh within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
