STANDING ORDER

To

All Press Registrars,

Subject: The operation of a multi-system cable network by multi-system operators under the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955 (Andhra Pradesh Act 4 of 1955), the Environment Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a multi-system cable network by multi-system operators.

2. The matter has been examined. Every multi-system operator carrying on the operation of a multi-system cable network shall make an application in Form III to the Advisory Panel within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Press Registrar shall ensure that advertisement is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Advisory Panel within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
