STANDING ORDER

To

All Doping Control Officers,

Subject: The running of a gymnasium by operators of a gymnasium under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a gymnasium by operators of a gymnasium.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a gymnasium carrying on the running of a gymnasium shall make an application in Form D to the Sports Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Doping Control Officer shall ensure that sample is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Sports Tribunal within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Telangana.
