OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: The maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building by owners of a high-rise building under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building by owners of a high-rise building is to be regulated under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a high-rise building carrying on the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building shall make an application in Form F to the National Executive Committee within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building is undertaken, and the National Executive Committee shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
