OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the receipt of public funds by privates body funded by a public authority is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private body funded by a public authority carrying on the receipt of public funds shall make an application in Form E to the Competent Authority within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the receipt of public funds is undertaken, and the Competent Authority shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
