STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The running of a pilgrim lodge by operators of a pilgrim lodge under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959 (Rajasthan Act 42 of 1959), the Environment Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a pilgrim lodge by operators of a pilgrim lodge.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a pilgrim lodge carrying on the running of a pilgrim lodge shall make an application in Form D to the Commissioner of Endowments within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that audit report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commissioner of Endowments within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Environment Department, Government of Rajasthan.
