New Delhi, dated the 28th July, 2018

STANDING ORDER

To

All Fire Officers,

Subject: The holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of a mass gathering by organisers of a mass gathering.

2. The matter has been examined. Every organiser of a mass gathering carrying on the holding of a mass gathering shall make an application in Form A to the Relief Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Fire Officer shall ensure that warning is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Relief Commissioner within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
