STANDING ORDER

All Doping Control Officers,

Subject: The running of a sports academy by sports academies under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Information Technology Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a sports academy by sports academies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports academy carrying on the running of a sports academy shall make an application in Form B to the State Sports Council within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Doping Control Officer shall ensure that contract of an athlete is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Sports Council within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Telangana.
