STANDING ORDER
To
All Ward Officers,
Subject: The development of land by developers under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963 (Karnataka Act 11 of 1963), the Urban Development Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the development of land by developers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of land shall make an application in Form D to the Town Vending Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. The Ward Officer shall ensure that street is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Vending Committee within sixty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Karnataka.
