OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The erection of buildings near a defence work by owners of a building near a defence work under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the erection of buildings near a defence work by owners of a building near a defence work is to be regulated under the Karnataka Control of Organised Crimes Act, 2002.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building near a defence work carrying on the erection of buildings near a defence work shall make an application in Form G to the Director-General within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the erection of buildings near a defence work is undertaken, and the Director-General shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka.
