OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The officiating at competitions by registered match officials under the Kerala Sports Act, 2000, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the officiating at competitions by registered match officials is to be regulated under the Kerala Sports Act, 2000.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registered match official carrying on the officiating at competitions shall make an application in Form A to the Sports Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the officiating at competitions is undertaken, and the Sports Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Kerala.
