OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Agriculture Department, Government of Punjab on the manner in which the sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers is to be regulated under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961.

2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in fertilisers carrying on the sale of fertilisers shall make an application in Form F to the Insecticides Board within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of fertilisers is undertaken, and the Insecticides Board shall dispose of it within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Punjab.
