OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1950.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 3 to the Settlement Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
