STANDING ORDER
To
All Surveyors,
Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land.
2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Land Tribunal within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.
3. The Surveyor shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Land Tribunal within thirty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Rajasthan.
