STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The safety of a school building by owners of a school building under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Urban Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the safety of a school building by owners of a school building.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a school building carrying on the safety of a school building shall make an application in Form F to the Director of Fire Services within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that relief material is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Fire Services within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
