OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The manufacture of insecticides by manufacturers of insecticides under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Punjab on the manner in which the manufacture of insecticides by manufacturers of insecticides is to be regulated under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of insecticides carrying on the manufacture of insecticides shall make an application in Form G to the Market Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of insecticides is undertaken, and the Market Committee shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Punjab.
