OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The running of a citizen service centre by operators of a citizen service centre under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the running of a citizen service centre by operators of a citizen service centre is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1975.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a citizen service centre carrying on the running of a citizen service centre shall make an application in Form C to the State Information Commission within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the running of a citizen service centre is undertaken, and the State Information Commission shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
