STANDING ORDER

To

All Audit Officers,

Subject: The receipt of grants by grantees under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the receipt of grants by grantees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grantee carrying on the receipt of grants shall make an application in Form GFR 41 to the Public Accounts Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Audit Officer shall ensure that sanction order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Public Accounts Committee within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat.
