STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials under the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003 (Gujarat Act 20 of 2003), the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials.

2. The matter has been examined. Every supplier of relief materials carrying on the storage of relief materials shall make an application in Form F to the National Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that relief material is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Authority within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat.
