STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Director of Education,

Subject: The conduct of examinations by examination centres under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Education Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the conduct of examinations by examination centres.

2. The matter has been examined. Every examination centre carrying on the conduct of examinations shall make an application in Form E to the Government of Gujarat within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Director of Education shall ensure that mark sheet is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Gujarat within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Gujarat.
