STANDING ORDER

To

All Station Fire Officers,

Subject: The execution of relief works by contractors for relief works under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of relief works by contractors for relief works.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor for relief works carrying on the execution of relief works shall make an application in Form C to the National Authority within one day, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Station Fire Officer shall ensure that fire safety certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Authority within one day.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
