OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.
1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which dealing in excisable articles by dealers is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within ten days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
