STANDING ORDER

To

All District Education Officers,

Subject: The teaching in a recognised school by teachers under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the teaching in a recognised school by teachers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every teacher carrying on the teaching in a recognised school shall make an application in Form B to the Government of Gujarat within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The District Education Officer shall ensure that examination is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Gujarat within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Gujarat.
