OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The authentication of identity by requesting entities under the Kerala Police Act, 2011, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the authentication of identity by requesting entities is to be regulated under the Kerala Police Act, 2011.

2. The matter has been examined. Every requesting entity carrying on the authentication of identity shall make an application in Form C to the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the authentication of identity is undertaken, and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Kerala.
