OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Water Resources Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the operation of a water supply scheme by operators of a water supply scheme is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Irrigation and Drainage Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a water supply scheme carrying on the operation of a water supply scheme shall make an application in Form C to the Board within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a water supply scheme is undertaken, and the Board shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Water Resources Department, Government of Rajasthan.
