OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the survey of land by licensed surveyors is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Land Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
