OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals is to be regulated under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form F to the State Executive Committee within one day, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of hazardous chemicals is undertaken, and the State Executive Committee shall dispose of it within one day of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
