OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The display of advertisements by owners of a hoarding under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Karnataka on the manner in which the display of advertisements by owners of a hoarding is to be regulated under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hoarding carrying on the display of advertisements shall make an application in Form G to the Development Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the display of advertisements is undertaken, and the Development Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Karnataka.
