OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Kerala Land Assignment Act, 1960, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the survey of land by licensed surveyors is to be regulated under the Kerala Land Assignment Act, 1960.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Board of Revenue within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Kerala.
