STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Registrars,

Subject: The occupation of premises by tenants under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the occupation of premises by tenants.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the occupation of premises shall make an application in Form C to the Adjudicating Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Registrar shall ensure that register of projects is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Adjudicating Officer within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
