STANDING ORDER

All Auditors of Trusts,

Subject: The running of a society by societies under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983 (Uttar Pradesh Act 29 of 1983), the Revenue Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a society by societies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every society carrying on the running of a society shall make an application in Form H to the Registrar of Societies within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Auditor of Trusts shall ensure that account is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Societies within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
