STANDING ORDER

To

All Incident Commanders,

Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form E to the Relief Commissioner within one day, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Incident Commander shall ensure that hazard map is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Relief Commissioner within one day.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
