STANDING ORDER
To
All Regionals Officer of the Board,
Subject: The operation of a plant by operators of a plant under the Kerala Forest Act, 1961, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Forest Act, 1961 (Kerala Act 4 of 1961), the Labour Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a plant by operators of a plant.
2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a plant carrying on the operation of a plant shall make an application in Form I to the Government of Kerala within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. The Regional Officer of the Board shall ensure that wild animal article is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Kerala within forty-five days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Kerala.
