OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh on the manner in which the working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village is to be regulated under the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall make an application in Form 2 to the Zila Parishad within seven days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the working of a brick kiln in a village is undertaken, and the Zila Parishad shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
