OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The allotment of property to a displaced person by displaced persons under the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1964, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Revenue Department, Government of Kerala on the manner in which the allotment of property to a displaced person by displaced persons is to be regulated under the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1964.

2. The matter has been examined. Every displaced person carrying on the allotment of property to a displaced person shall make an application in Form 5 to the Estate Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the allotment of property to a displaced person is undertaken, and the Estate Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of Kerala.
