OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The sale of property by auction by auctioneers under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan on the manner in which the sale of property by auction by auctioneers is to be regulated under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999.

2. The matter has been examined. Every auctioneer carrying on the sale of property by auction shall make an application in Form H to the District Registrar within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of property by auction is undertaken, and the District Registrar shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Rajasthan.
