STANDING ORDER

To

All Recruiting Officers,

Subject: Service in the Force by enrolled persons under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986), the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to service in the Force by enrolled persons.

2. The matter has been examined. Every enrolled person carrying on service in the Force shall make an application in Form H to the Defence Estates Officer within three days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Recruiting Officer shall ensure that defence work is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Defence Estates Officer within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
