OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The use of land for manoeuvres by occupiers of land used for manoeuvres under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh on the manner in which the use of land for manoeuvres by occupiers of land used for manoeuvres is to be regulated under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupier of land used for manoeuvres carrying on the use of land for manoeuvres shall make an application in Form C to the Government of Uttar Pradesh within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the use of land for manoeuvres is undertaken, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
