OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the storage of inflammable goods by owners of a warehouse of inflammable goods is to be regulated under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a warehouse of inflammable goods carrying on the storage of inflammable goods shall make an application in Form A to the National Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the storage of inflammable goods is undertaken, and the National Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
