OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The officiating at competitions by registered match officials under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Goa on the manner in which the officiating at competitions by registered match officials is to be regulated under the Goa, Daman and Diu Public Gambling Act, 1976.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registered match official carrying on the officiating at competitions shall make an application in Form D to the Sports Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the officiating at competitions is undertaken, and the Sports Authority shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Goa.
