OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: The occupation of land by occupants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

1. The undersigned is directed to say that references have been received in the Home Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on the manner in which the occupation of land by occupants is to be regulated under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954.

2. The matter has been examined. Every occupant carrying on the occupation of land shall make an application in Form 2 to the Board of Revenue within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the occupation of land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this office memorandum may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
